The things that keep us up at night are usually things that we avoid during the day. The conversations that we need to have, the relationship and career stress we fail to deal with. When our life is out of alignment in any area, it becomes very clear what we need to do, however, we don't.
Our lack of action causes us to not sleep, manifests as sickness, and eventually leads to the breakdown of our own physical health. All of this because we live in fear. The irony being, the very thing we fear, example; rejection, losing love, etc is the very thing we do to ourselves to avoid it and often our excuse is that we don't know what the cause is. That we have no clue why we're not sleeping..
However, we know. But we often don't acknowledge the answer to all the questions we keep asking because that way we can stay comfortable (even if we're sad), we don't have to change and take action.
It's up to us to get our lives where we want them to be. And for most of us, we wait for life to hand us a rock bottom that we know is inevitable if we keep doing what we're doing. Don't wait for that, and know there is no greater freedom than being in alignment with what you know is true. And the crazy thing is, we're just a couple of conversations and actions away. So go and have them so we all can get some sleep.
