CHARITY + VOLUNTEERING

In everyone of us there is potential to make a difference. Human beings, just ordinary people like you and I, can do great things for individuals, for the community and for the environment. We can not only volunteer our time, but our effort, our financial support AND even emotional support for any other human being or environmental surrounding. If you make the decision, you CAN make a difference!
There is no individual charity, foundation, cause or organisation that is better than any other. They are ALL just as important as one another, with the same end goal in mind; to make a difference. I myself wish to pursue a life creating endless opportunities for those in need and for organisations that need our help to better the environment and animal welfare. If you know just like I do, that you are capable of making a difference in one way or another, then why not choose now to do so.

The following charities, groups and community events are ones which are closest to my heart and after months of research into each cause, I wish to now do all I can to support and make a difference where I can. So please give your support to a charity, cause or environmental project that means something to you is something you; you'll be amazed by the impact one can make on the lives of others.

Some days when the currents change we can get a heartbreaking amount of plastic washing up onto our pristine white beaches; which is when the brainstorming began. It was obvious quickly that something needed to be done and there wasn’t much out there for women divers except “oh let’s make it pink”. This is what then lead to the concept of Ocean Mimic – sustainable dive wear for women that wasn’t just pink! It was then later the idea of having each design inspired by specific species and our one of a kind beach clean up and conservation strategy evolved.
