'I am learning to trust the journey even when I do not understand it'
- Mila Bron
It may take months or it may take years, but what is meant for you will always find it's way to you.
It may take a lot of patience, and a lot of overcoming challenges. It may take many moments of despair and a lot of heartbreaks; but what is meant for you will always be worth the wait.
It may require an exorbitant dose of strength, resilience and will power, but eventually what is meant for you will come when you are ready to appreciate every little bit of it. It will make sense. It will make the painful years a little easier to swallow, and the journey a little sweeter to look back on.
Every challenge, every heartbreak, and every set back is meant to get us closer to what is truly meant for us because life doesn't make us suffer for no good reason. Life doesn't take away blessings from us unless it knows it's not going to benefit us in the future. While you may never know why life does certain things a certain way or why it chooses to teach us some hard lessons, you have to believe that it's all apart of a bigger plan.
You may not see or understand the whole picture now, but when it's done, you will understand that every part had it's purpose, and that every little dot came together to create something meaningful; something worth looking at, and something worth remembering.
It may take a while but what is meant for you will not mistakenly be given to someone else. Life doesn't miss targets and life doesn't give someone else your piece of cake. So rest assured, that if something is meant for you (even if the whole world is competing for it), it will be yours and yours only.
I think that's the beauty of life, knowing that after everything you've been through, there will be a reward. Whether it's what you wished for or something better, or whether it's what you've been waiting for or something beyond your wildest dreams.
Life is full of surprises and miracles although timing doesn't always align with what we expect, and the plans are nothing like the ones we planned for ourselves; it is reassuring to know that at the end of it all, what is meant for us will be ours. Maybe we will stumble upon it, or maybe it will find us, maybe it will require us to fight a few more battles, but it helps to know that once everything falls into place, what is meant for us will not be taken away. What is meant for us will always stay, despite all the challenges, and despite all difficulties, what is meant for you will always find it's way.
